Helios Achievement Award at Durham University

Helios Development Directors Natalie Lever and Zoe Thomson handed over the new Helios Achievement Award to students Aine Widdicombe and Izel Ilkten-Salman of University College at a formal dinner at the Castle last week. The students were recognised for creating a documentary filmed in Turkey which took a year from start to finish.

Helios provides two awards to University College, the first being an Achievement Award and the second a Hardship Award. This is the start of a five year agreement with the College.

Natalie said ‘We wanted to celebrate and help students at University College where we have a long standing relationship. Well done to Aine and Izel on being the first prize winners, we look forward to seeing many more in the years to come’.
