Mixed use scheme – Strawberry Place, Newcastle

The scheme, set to start development in January 2020, is making great progress. Full details have been submitted to Newcastle City Council Planning department for their 8th November committee. The scheme comprises 4 buildings; a 200 bed 4 star hotel, 328 new apartments spread over two buildings, and an office block of 130,000 square feet.

Helios and JV partner Marrico acquired this city centre site and flowing a detailed study obtained planning permission for a mixed use scheme comprising apartments, offices and a 200 bed hotel. The site was then sold to residential developer at a profit.
