Helios fully lets logistics space at Vienna Airport

Helios has leased the final 6,000 square metres (64,583 square foot) of warehouse space at its Ayka Helios logistics park at Vienna Airport.

Austrian firm Quehenberger Logistics, which caters to the retail, fashion, automotive and food industries, has signed a 10-year lease. The balance of the space has already been leased to Hervis and Simpex, companies of the retail chain Spar Group.

The 76,000 square metre scheme is adjacent to Vienna Airport and scheduled for completion in August. The €130m development, which is a joint venture between Helios and Ayka Solutions, was announced at the end of 2021.  

Construction was originally due to start in June 2022 but only began a year ago. Completion was initially planned for next month.
