Helios are proud to be sponsoring dancer Cameron Cinnamond-Bland, who has been dancing since he was 8 at a local dance school in Sheffield. After being recognised for his talent, he was accepted into the Royal Ballet School on the Royal Ballet School Junior Associates Program every weekend in Leeds, alongside continuing at his Sheffield dance school.
Aged 11, he auditioned for a full-time place at Emhurst Ballet School in Birmingham and was once again successful. This meant him leaving home to follow his dream, training during summer and easter breaks at different schools internationally to better his technique. During the recent pandemic he received an offer to study at San Francisco Ballet, but unfortunately visa restrictions stopped him from going.
Cameron is now 15 and will shortly begin his auditions for upper school, which include schools abroad. He will then have a further 2 years before he joins a company with the aim of becoming a Principal Ballet Dancer.
We wish Cameron all the best on his journey are pleased to be supporting him along the way.
