AFL signed for new Aparthotel on our Lisbon Street Site

Helios and Marrico have concluded an agreement for lease with Lamington Group for a new 182 bed Aparthotel at their Lisbon Street site in Leeds. This will be the third phase of the scheme alongside a student accommodation block and a new 578 bed apartment building. The hotel is to be operated under the Room2 brand will feature extensive bar and restaurant area at ground floor level as well as conference facilities. 

Room2 is new brand rapidly expanding in the UK and recently opened a new hotel in Belfast which was visited by the Helios team earlier this year on a fact finding mission. Construction is due to commence in March 2025 with completion two years later. This will the second hotel development in the city following the completion of the 302 bed Hyatt Hotel in Sovereign Square.
