Verkaufen Sie Ihr beengtes Haus in der Stadt und kaufen Sie ein rosenbewachsenes Cottage mit einer Garage, die in ein B\u00fcro umgewandelt werden kann. Verzichten Sie auf das Pendeln und nutzen Sie die Zeit, um Brot zu backen und den Garten zu bepflanzen. Bringen Sie Ihre Work-Life-Balance wieder auf den richtigen Stand und verbringen Sie mehr Zeit mit Ihren Kindern. Fitter, gl\u00fccklicher, produktiver... Laut der j\u00fcngsten Umfrage von Ipsos Mori gibt ein Drittel der Arbeitnehmer an, mehr von zu Hause aus arbeiten zu wollen, und ein Viertel der Pendler sagt, dass sie weniger zur Arbeit fahren werden, wobei diese Zahl in London auf fast ein Drittel steigt.<\/p>\n

Spulen Sie ein oder drei Jahre vor. Die Kinder langweilen sich und vermissen ihre Freunde. Das Brot schmeckt nicht mehr so gut und die G\u00e4rten sind zugewachsen. Die Einheimischen haben Sie nicht akzeptiert und nehmen Ihnen Ihre Herkunft aus der Stadt \u00fcbel. Die Stammg\u00e4ste in der Kneipe reden hinter deinem R\u00fccken \u00fcber dich, und egal, wie sehr du dich bem\u00fchst, du kommst nicht in ihre Clique. Du vermisst den Trubel, die Auswahl und die Abwechslung deines alten Lebens. Du vermisst sogar den Stress. Wenn jeder Tag gleich langweilig ist und das Leben einfach nicht mehr so abwechslungsreich ist. Und was macht man, wenn es regnet - und das tut es, sehr oft.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Diejenigen, die in der Stadt geblieben sind, genie\u00dfen inzwischen die ruhigeren Stra\u00dfen mit weniger Pendlern und noch weniger Autos. Die Bars und Restaurants sind nicht mehr ganz so voll wie fr\u00fcher und geben sich etwas mehr M\u00fche, die G\u00e4ste zufrieden zu stellen. Das B\u00fcro ist eine willkommene Abwechslung an den drei Tagen, die man jetzt dort verbringt, und der Kaffee am Vormittag oder der Drink nach der Arbeit mit den Kollegen ist ein wahrer Genuss. Die jungen Leute machen Heu, w\u00e4hrend Sie Marmelade und Scones kochen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Das Gras auf der anderen Seite ist nicht immer gr\u00fcner und oft ein schlammiges Feld. Wir sollten alle etwas aus dem vergangenen Jahr der Abriegelungen gelernt haben und dies nutzen, um unser Leben zu verbessern. 40% der Befragten gaben in der gleichen Umfrage an, dass sie in Zukunft mehr zu Fu\u00df gehen w\u00fcrden, w\u00e4hrend 31% sagten, dass sie mehr ihrer Eink\u00e4ufe vor Ort erledigen w\u00fcrden. Beides sind gute Ans\u00e4tze, aber wie bei den meisten Dingen kommt es darauf an, die richtige Balance zu finden. Das Kind mit dem Bade auszusch\u00fctten ist nie eine gute Idee. Wir m\u00fcssen also jegliche reflexartigen Reaktionen vermeiden und uns daran erinnern, was das Leben f\u00fcr so viele von uns vor COVID so gut gemacht hat. Wir m\u00fcssen raus aus dem Haus und zur\u00fcck ins B\u00fcro. Raus aus dem Pyjama und rein in den Anzug. Wir m\u00fcssen Arbeit schaffen und sie nicht nur erledigen. Wir m\u00fcssen pro-aktiv sein und nicht nur reaktiv. Wir m\u00fcssen uns wieder als Menschen engagieren und diese Interaktion nutzen, um mehr f\u00fcr alle zu erreichen. Und wir m\u00fcssen aufh\u00f6ren, die elektronische Kommunikation als Standardeinstellung zu verwenden. Sonst sind wir, wie der Gefreite James Frazer sagen w\u00fcrde, dem Untergang geweiht!<\/p>\n
